Assad: ‘Israel is aiding terrorists’
President of Syria Bashar al-Assad was asked about the fear of a war against Israel in an interview with a Croatian newspaper. He responded that war with Israel “is far from reality, since we are already in a war with them. Israel is in partnership with Turkey, the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and more.
"This war erupted through new means, and in fact our victory over the terrorists in our country, who fight for Israel, is a victory over all of these countries. Israel is trying to aid terrorists anywhere the Syrian army advances and attacks in many different ways to halt the army’s momentum.”
