The comptroller: Tens of millions of shekels allocated to Holocaust survivors were not implemented properly

The state comptroller's report determined that tens of millions of shekels allocated for the treatment of Holocaust survivors were not implemented properly, and the lack of coordination between the bodies damaged the various benefits to which they were entitled.

The state comptroller, retired judge Yosef Shapira, noted: "Every year, 12,000 Holocaust survivors pass away. The state must ensure that the rest of their lives are spent with dignity."
