German Foreign Minister: 'Our responsibility for the Holocaust requires us to act against anti-Semitism'
German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, who arrived in Israel on Monday, said: "To commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day, I make note of Germany's historical responsibility for the Holocaust and the crimes of World War II. This responsibility serves as a guidelines and commitment for us to act against anti-Semitism and in the name of human dignity. I stand here in Israel, in silence, facing the deep abyss of the Holocaust and the country that despite it all, reached out to us."
