Knesset approves IPBC delayed launch

The Knesset approved on Wednesday to push back the launcing of the Israeli Public Broadcasting Company.

Instead of launching at the end of this month, it is now due to launch on May 15. It passed with 35 MKs supporting the decision versus 28 MKs against it.

The opposition opposed the delay, with the IPBC workers themselves decryig that it would "throw away 17 million shekels and all the creative content intended for Memorial Day and Independence Day."
