Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered a $1 million cutback from Israel's funds to the United Nations following UNESCO's decision Tuesday that Israel is an occupying power in Jerusalem. Netanyahu announced the cut at the start of the cabinet meeting, adding: "We will not sit idly by."
