US welcomes release of UN aid worker held in South Sudan

UNITED NATIONS - US Ambassador Nikki Haley is welcoming the release of a UN aid worker detained by South Sudan's government since April 10.
Haley says the US is "relieved" that Peter Alex has been reunited with his family. He's a South Sudanese who works for the World Food Program,
She said in a statement Thursday that South Sudan is "the most dangerous country in the world today for aid workers."
