Israeli Ambassador to France Aliza Bin-Noun says that the relations between Israel and France "will be very friendly. Macron visited here a bout a year and a half ago when he was Minister of the Economy. He was impressed by the innovation in Israel and inspired by its energy.
"He was asked about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during the campaign and said that he supports the two-state solution and thinks that France can play a role in the negotiations because they speak with both sides."
According to the Ambassedor, Macron "said that he does not support a one-sided recognition of a Palestinian state. He also said that he supports fighting sanctions against Israel."
