Energy Minister Steinitz announces an increased cyber alert for Israel's energy and water infrastructure

In recent hours, the Ministry of Energy, the Israel Electric Company, the power plants and the energy and water infrastructure have carried out actions designed to strengthen cyber protection and increase alertness, in accordance with the current attacks.

These activities were coordinated by the Ministry of Energy's cyber center, which was established a year ago to protect Israel's energy infrastructure from cyber attacks.
