Portugal wins Eurovision; Israel comes in 23rd place

For the first time, Portugal wins Eurovision.

At the end of the judges' vote it was announced that the song "Amar pelos dois" by the Portuguese singer Salvador Suval, won the 2017 Eurovision contest held in Ukraine on Saturday.

Israeli representative Imri Ziv came in 23rd place with the song "I Feel Alive."

Bulgaria came in second, followed by Moldova in third.
