Netanyahu decries ultra-Orthodox flag and IDF effigy burnings

Prime Minister Netanyahu issued a statement Sunday saying, "Yesterday therewas a despicable event in Jerusalem. An ultra-Orthodox faction affiliated with Neturei Karta burned Israeli army effigies with IDF uniforms and Israeli flags, in order to harm ultra-Orthodox soldiers. This is a despicable thing. I expect all public leaders to denounce this act and the police to deal with it."
