Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi said Jordan's King Abdullah II "is making efforts to create security, to establish peace and to gain freedom for the Palestinians." A-Safadi said this when he was asked about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's remarks Saturday that "the time has come for Jordan to stop playing a double game."
"As Israel condemns terrorist attacks in Jordan, Jordan must condemn attacks in Israel," Netanyahu's office said in response to the Jordanian reaction to the attack in Jerusalem.
