A psychiatric evaluation submitted to Nazareth's District Court ruled that Meir Ephraim Goldstein, a resident of Tiberias who is suspected of murdering and beheading his wife, was not of sound mind when he committed the act.
In the evaluation it was written that Goldstein was in a psychotic mental state and couldn't differentiate between good and bad at the time of the murder.
His remand was extended until further notice, as he is set to stay under psychiatric care.
