About 20 Palestinians were spotted throwing rocks at moving vehicles on a road near Silwad.
One of the drivers got out of his car and gave chase after the suspects, attempting to make a citizen's arrest. During the chase the driver shot one of the fleeing Palestinians, who was moderately wounded and evacuated to a hospital shortly after.
He is stable and currently in treatment.
