The United Nations envoy to the Middle East, Nikolai Maldanov, condemned the shooting by the settler who was attacked in the Hawara area and killed a Palestinian youth. Maldanov wrote in his Twitter account that he "condemns the killing of the Palestinian by the Israeli settler, and those responsible must stand trial."
