Police kill man who attacked them with knife in Tirat Carmel; incident criminal in nature

Two police officers who responded to a call on HaRambam Street in Tirat Carmel were stabbed by a man who assaulted them with a knife on Sunday morning.

One of the officers shot the attacker and neutralized him.

The officers suffered light injuries while the attacker, in his 50s, was shot dead.

Police said the incident was criminal in nature.
