Ahead of US President Donald Trump's visit to Israel, the Cabinet approved a concessions package for the Palestinians. Eight members of the cabinet voted in favor, versus two who voted against—Minister Naftali Bennett and Minister Ayelet Shaked, who opposed on account of the concession that would allow Palestinians to construct in C areas, which are under Israeli control. In addition, the concessions include the opening of industrial zones in Jalameh and Tarqumiya and the opening of the Allenby crossing at all hours of the day.
