Marwan Barghouti taken to the hospital due to medical condition
Marwan Barghouti, one of the leaders of the prisoners' hunger strike, was taken to the hospital due to his medical condition. Barghouti underwent medical examinations and was returned to his cell at Kishon Detention Center. On Wednesday, 154 hunger strikers were taken to hospitals throughout the country to be evaluated, after which the medical staffs will decide who to hospitalize. So far, 16 security prisoners have been hospitalized since the beginning of the week.
