Trump welcomes Vietnam leader to White House
US President Donald Trump says he plans to discuss trade and North Korea with the prime minister of Vietnam.
Trump welcomed Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc to the Oval Office Wednesday.
Trump says the prime minister has done a "spectacular job." He adds, "We have many things to talk about and we look forward to being together."
Trump is due to travel to Vietnam to attend an Asia-Pacific economic summit in November.
