Punishment of woman who pretended to be a terrorist commuted

None

The Nazareth District Court on Tuesday commuted a six-month prison sentence given to a woman who pretended to be a terrorist to community service.

Asraa Abed, 30, from Nazareth, threatened to stab a soldier at the Afula central bus station, hoping she would be shot to death. She was shot by Border Police and soldiers stationed at the bus station.

She was later determined to be suffering from mental health issues.
