The Knesset plenum approved in a preliminary reading the bill proposed by MK Elazar Stern (Yesh Atid), to offset the salaries of the terrorists.
48 MKs supported the bill and 13 opposed it.
"When the PA transfers funds, by law, to terrorists and their families, it promotes a policy of murdering Israelis. The budgeting of terrorism is a clear political act, and it is not consistent with the peace process, "said Stern.
