White House official rejects rumors of Trump planning to drop peace talks
An American official rejected as nonsense reports suggesting that the Trump administration is considering dropping a renewed peace push between Israel and the Palestinians.
The rumors came on the heels of a meeting held last week between Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas and US President Trump’s senior advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who is supposed to produce a report for the president on which any peace initiative is set to be based.
