Disabled persons' protest slows down traffic on Highway 1
Highway 1 from the Latrun Interchange towards Jerusalem experienced heavy congestion on Tuesday as a convoy of disabled protesters slowly made its way to the capital.
The protesters plan to demonstrate outside the Prime Minister's Residence on Tuesday evening, despite a plan he presented earlier in the day that would raise disability stipends to NIS 4,000 starting January 2018.
