Possible salmonella detected at IDF basic training base

Two soldiers serving in the Givati Brigade's basic training base in Ktzi'ot are suspected to have contracted the salmonella virus.
The soldiers are undergoing medical tests after several dozens of soldiers in the base suffered from diarrhea and vomiting over the weekend.
"The soldiers received medical treatment, and there is now a comprehensive examination to find the source of the problem," the IDF said. "We'll study the issue and deal with it to prevent this from repeating."
