Bat Yam resident who stole weapon of sleeping IDF officer sentenced to 3 years in prison

The Tel Aviv District Court sentenced Avi Nisani, a resident of Bat Yam, to 36 months in prison, suspended prison terms and NIS 8,000 in compensation in a criminal case which includes several murders between rival gangs.

Nisani was convicted, among other things, of throwing a grenade at a garden apartment in a building in Rishon Letzion and stealing a weapon from an IDF officer who was sleeping in his car.
