IDF infantry soldier accused of raping female soldier

An IDF soldier infantry was arrested a week ago on suspicion of raping a female soldier who served with him, it was cleared for publication on Thursday.

The suspect had admitted to having sexual relations with the female soldier, but claimed the relationship between the two was consensual.

A Jaffa military court accepted the prosecution’s request to extend the suspect's remand until Sunday after further evidence was gathered against him that may lead to an indictment against him.
