Abbas to meet with al-Sisi following recent Hamas-Egypt understandings

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was expected to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo on Sunday in the wake of recent understandings reached between Hamas and Egypt.
Ahead of the meeting, Abbas has threatened to continue imposing financial sanctions on the Gaza Strip if Hamas continues to run it independently without allowing the Palestinian Authority a hold.
