The Be'er Sheva District Court partially accepted Sunday the prosecution's appeal of the punishment given to Likud MK Oren Hazan after he was caught speeding on the Arava highway.
The prosecution appealed the lenient sentence given to Hazan of a NIS 1,500 fine.
In addition to the fine, the district court suspended Hazan's driver's license for a month, in addition to the administrative suspension he had already served, and sentenced him to three additional months of probation.
