AG says Netanyahu is entitled to a fair investigation

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit said Sunday that every person under investigation has the right to “fair proceedings, even it the person being investigated is a minister or even the prime minister.”
Mandelblit's comments were made in reference to calls to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over a series of separate investigations he is currently facing.
“Despite the impression that various elements are trying to create, the judiciary, the Attorney General, the State Prosecutor’s Office and the Israel Police are not advancing personal agendas or political interests. The are acting according to the law.”
