Elor Azaria will be released to house arrest

The military court at the Kirya decided Monday to release Elor Azaria, who was convicted of murdering of a neutralized terrorist, to house arrest on Thursday.
Azaria was supposed to be released from the IDF on Thursday, and as a result cannot continue to be held in open detention at his military base.
At the end of the month, the Military Court of Appeals will rule on the two appeals filed against the previous court decision, according to which Azaria will serve a one and a half year prison term.
