Trump to stop the program for training and arming rebels in Syria by the CIA

The Washington Post reported that senior officials in the US government said that US President Donald Trump has decided to stop the secret CIA program aimed at training and arming Syrian rebels fighting President Bashar Assad's forces.
The program began in 2013 during the administration of former President Barack Obama, in order to put pressure on Assad to bring him to leave the country.
