Psychological assistance for abused minors and rehabilitation training for the blind passes preliminary reading

The Knesset plenum approved in a preliminary reading a bill proposed by MK Orly Levy-Abekasis, who is not part of any political party, according to which mental health assistance will be given to minors who were victims of sexual and violent abuse.

In addition, another proposal was approved, according to which rehabilitation training will be given to the blind. Both proposals were supported by the coalition.

Levy-Abekasis said: "To pass laws as a single MK resigns from a faction is a big challenge. When I retired, they told me / threatened me that I would not succeed in passing anything. I am glad I succeeded in proving otherwise. "
