Report: Israel given ultimatum to remove metal detectors from Temple Mount entrance
The Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat has said that efforts are being made between the US and Arab states to bring around a resolution to the escalating crisis on the Temple Mount after metal detectors were installed there by Israel following a recent deadly terror attack.
According to Hatem Abdul Kader, Fatah’s former Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Israel was given 24 hours to remove the metal detectors, an ultimatum which would expire on Thursday evening.
