Abbas asks Erdoğan for help to end Temple Mount standoff

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas asked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to work with the US and Israel in an effort to end the Temple Mount standoff in a phonecall on Thursday.
According to the Palestinian state news agency Wafa, the two agreed to continue consulting on the matter.
