EU envoy responds to Netanyahu: 'We have deep, broad relations with Israel'

The European Union's Ambassador to Israel, Lars Faaborg-Andersen, responded to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's hot mic attack of the EU on Wednesday, writing on Twitter that the "EU has deeper, broader relations with Israel than with almost any third country and we continue to advance them, economic and political."
He added that "Upgrading to next level must be based on our shared values, including respect for international humanitarian law, steps to two-state solution."
