PMO denies Jordan demanded removal of metal detectors to allow Israeli guard to leave

The Prime Minister's Office denied Monday evening Jordan demanded the removal of the metal detectors on the Temple Mount in return for allowing the Israeli embassy guard to return to Israel.

"The talks between Israel and Jordan have been conducted over the past 24 hours in an atmosphere of cooperation," a statement from the PMO said.
