Miki Ganor suspended as Cyrpus honorary consul
The Cyprus Embassy in Israel informed the Foreign Ministry that it was revoking the title of honorary consul from businessman Miki Ganor after he became a state witness and incriminated himself in the submarine affair.
Cyprus' ambassador to Israel sent an official letter to the Foreign Ministry stating that due to the circumstances created by Ganor, he will not be able to fulfill his duties and as of July 24 his appointment as Cyprus' honorary consul in Israel has been suspended.
