Arab League Secretary-General Ahmad Abu Al-Wright said international guarantees are needed so that the Israeli violations on the Temple Mount would not be repeated.
"The Al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line that must not be crossed," he said.
Abu Al-Wright spoke at an emergency meeting of the League, at Jordan's request.
