Arab League: Escalation on Temple Mount threatens entire region
The Arab League issued a statement at the end of the emergency meeting held in Cairo to discuss the situation in Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.
The statement said that the Israeli escalation would have dangerous implications for the future of peace and that it threatens the whole region and could lead to a religious confrontation.
The Arab League also warned in its announcement that if there is no fundamental solution to the crisis, the situation could explode at any given moment.
