The Jordanian embassy incident: The security guard is under investigation
According to Israel's commitment to Jordan, the security guard, Ziv, who shot to death two Jordanians after being stabbed by one of them near the Israeli embassy in Amman, was interrogated today.
The investigation is being conducted jointly by the police, the Shin Bet and the Foreign Ministry, and is accompanied by Attorney General Avihai Mandelblit and State Prosecutor Shai Nitzan.
Israel apologized to Jordan for the death of the Jordanian doctor, who was apparently shot by mistake, and promised to pay compensation to his family.
