Elor Azaria appeals for hearing regarding prison postponement

Elor Azaria, the soldier convicted of killing a neutralized terrorist and sent to prison for a year and a half, appealed to the military court of appeals and asked to set a hearing tomorrow regarding his request to postpone his entry to prison.
In the petition, submitted by attorney Yoram Sheftel, he wrote that this was a special case, and that his very announcement that he would not appeal to the Supreme Court concluded the ruling and allowed the IDF Chief of Staff to hear his request to ease his sentence.
The military prosecution forwarded its response this morning to Azaria's request, demanding that his request will not be accepted, and to keep his entry into prison to be on Wednesday.
