IAF attacks in Gaza in response to rocket fire

The IDF attacked the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket fired at the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council last night.
The IDF Spokesperson's Office stated that "the IAF aircraft attacked two targets belonging to Hamas in the northern Gaza Strip.
The attack was carried out in response to the high trajectory fire that was carried out earlier in the area of the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council."
The rocket fired into Israel missed any inhabited areas and caused no casualties or damage.
