The Brazilian Supreme Court approved the extradition of Yehoshua Elitzur, who fled Israel after being convicted of killing a Palestinian and sentenced to 20 years in prison, the Brazilian newspaper Globo reported.
Elitzur, a resident of the West Bank Israeli settlement Itamar, was convicted in 2004 of killing the Palestinian Sael Jabara al-Shatiya from the Palestinian village of Salem.
He was arrested two years ago by the Brazilian police.
