Conan O'Brien heading to Israel in late August to 'help Jared Kushner'

The late-night talk show host is schedule to spend 5 days in the country filming a segment for his TBS show; announcing the visit on Twitter, O'Brien says he's coming to help Trump's son-in-law and senior advisor Kushner as he arrives in the Middle East to promote peace process.

Late-night talk show host Conan O'Brien is expected to arrive in Israel at the end of August to film a segment for his TBS show.

 

 

Barring any last minute changes, O'Brien is expected to be in Israel for five days during which he will film the segment in different locations across the country.

 

O'Brien announced his visit, which has so far been kept a secret, on Twitter Friday night, writing: "Breaking: Conan O'Brien sends Conan O'Brien to Israel to help Jared Kushner. Stay tuned."

He linked to a story on TIME.com about US President Donald Trump sending his son-in-law and senior advisor Kushner to the Middle East again as part of the continued effort to relaunch peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians.

 

 

The filming in Israel will be produced by Assaf and Roni Nawi of the Nawi Pro production company.

 

The CEO of Channel 2 franchisee Keshet Media Group, Avi Nir, and Israel's Consul General in Los Angeles, Sam Grundwerg, were also involved in bringing O'Brien to Israel.
