Three east Jerusalem residents indicted for planning terror attack

The Jerusalem District Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against Mohammed Abu Khadir, Abbas Salhi and Amro Ma'atuk, residents of east Jerusalem, who are accused of planning a shooting attack, assaulting policemen and stone throwing.
According to the indictment, in 2017, the defendants planned to carry out a shooting attack against Israeli vehicles traveling on the Nablus bypass road and placing explosive devices on it.
In addition, on several occasions, the defendants participated in riots and stone throwing at Israeli military forces.
The prosecution is requesting to detain the defendants until the end of legal proceedings against them.
