Arab League: 'we will continue to block Israel's attempts to normalize its status in the UN'
Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres ahead of his visit to the Middle East, which would include Israel and the Palestinian territories.
According to Al-Hayat, Aboul Gheit wrote that "the Arab League will continue to block Israel's attempts to normalize its status in the UN," adding that the two-state solution is still the only solution to the conflict and ignoring it is a "recipe for disaster."
