Former Justice Minister to formulate recommendations on conversion

Former Minister of Justice and Finance Moshe Nissim acceded to the request of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to formulate recommendations on the issue of conversion in Israel.
The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement that "Prime Minister Netanyahu believes that Moshe Nissim's rich experience will help formulate recommendations on the issue of conversion, strengthen unity among the Jewish people, and respect the heritage of Israel.
"Nissim's appointment was made in accordance with the state's commitment to the High Court of Justice and the advancement of the conversion law and Prime Minister Netanyahu's intention to reach broad agreement on this important issue."
