The young man who accidentally killed his father will be released
The Haifa Magistrate's Court on Monday ordered the release of Marwan Zaid, 27, who accidentally shot his father, Nader, on Saturday night.
The police filed an appeal and the release was delayed until further discussion tomorrow.
The police continued to attribute to Zaid a killing, but the judge noted in the hearing that all the findings so far indicate accidental shooting, adding that his father's death was the most severe punishment the suspect could have received.
