Ambassador Danon slams UN decision to publish list of businesses operating in Israel's 'occupied' areas
The UN Human Rights Council has announced that it will publish by the end of the year a list of international businesses operating in the Golan Heights, Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.
Israel's Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon attacked the council's decision and said that "this is modern anti-Semitism and the purpose of the list is to encourage a boycott."
Ambassador Danon stated that "the UN human rights commissioner has become the most senior activist of the BDS movement and has set a goal to harm the State of Israel."
