Goldin family slams cabinet plans to allow permanent opening of Rafah crossing

The Goldin family, whose son Lt. Hadar Goldin was killed in Gaza and his body is being held by Hamas, slammed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Security Cabinet on Tuesday over plans to allow the opening of the Rafah border crossing, which connects Egypt and the strip, on a permanent basis after Eid al-Adha.

Leah and Simcha Goldin, the soldier's parents, said in a statement: "We demand the prime minister and the Cabinet to put an end to the 'zero actions' policy and start acting to return the boys home. The government makes a mockery of Cabinet decisions and fails to link humanitarian issues in Gaza to the return of Hadar and Oron Shaul."
