Netanya deputy mayor arrested on bribery charges

Netanya Deputy Mayor Shimon Sar was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of bribery, fraud and breach of trust offenses committed during his tenure, after police raided his home.
Sar was already arrested in the past as part of other corruption affairs in the Netanya municipality and returned to his role as chairman of the city's Planning and Construction Committee only a month ago.
